Topic: Is there a correlation between the age and gender of an individual and his/her speed of reaction to the given stimulus ?

Paper details:

The paper is a course work and research paper from the Mathematical Studies, according to the International Baccalaureate system. It focused on the correlation between the age and gender of an individual and his/her speed of reaction to the given stimulus, 90 individuals, assigned to 3 different groups according their age
[(10-30 years)( 31-50 years)( 51-70 years)] had been tested for their time of reaction. To measure that speed, two IPhones were used. From one of the phones a record was played to the volunteer via headphones. The record consisted of 3 bright and clear sounds. The first was at 00:02:15, the second at 00:06:20, and the third at 00:09:40 of the record. On the other phone a timer was started exactly at the moment of starting the record. The person was asked to press the Lap button every time immediately after they heard the sound. The difference between the actual time of the recorded sound and the results of the 3 Laps depict the time of reaction to the impulse. That test was conducted on the group of 90 volunteers and needs to be analysed in accordance to their age and gender. There was an equal number of women and men among the participants of all the groups.
A clear Introduction, Measurement/Data Collection, all the Mathematical processes, Interpretation of results and validity must be included. Graphs as for the distribution and correlation are necessary as well as formulas as for example for the chi-squared test. All measurements if conducted on the graphic calculator, must be in accordance with the TI-83. As many relevant mathematical processes as possible should be included. If possible a source proving the results may be cited. The general outcome and conclusion should obviously be that the older the individual the slower the speed of reaction. The difference between the speeds of reaction according to the genders will probably be minor. The amount of words is not as important as all the measurement, mathematical processes and graphs! So the lenght of the paper may vary, from around 10-15 pages, just as much as is needed for all the investigation.
